Doctrines & Statement of faith

The followings are just few extracts about what we believe and teach as foundation and bedrock of our ministry.

THE HOLY BIBLE: Without reservation, we believe in the entire contents of the Holy Bible as the undisputable, authoritative, revelational and infallible rule of faith and conduct (2Tim.3:15-17; 1Thessa 2:13; 2Peter 1:21).

THE ONE TRUE GOD: We have absolute confidence in the existence of the Most Holy, Most Powerful and Righteous Living God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; Luke 3:22).God is the Creator but was not created (Col. 1:16&17).He is a Sovereign, Immortal, Everlasting and He is the Almighty (Isa. 40:28; Daniel 4:35; Gen. 17:1).

THE DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST: We believe in His Virgin Birth, His Sinless life, His Miracles, His Victorious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His Ascension into the Right Hand of the Father, His personal future return to this earth in power and Glory to rule and reign.(John 5:22-23;2John 3;Heb 1:1-3).

TRINITY: Gen 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; Isa 6:8; 2Cor:13:14; Matt 3:16-17.

SIN & THE FALL OF MAN: Man was created well, upright and in God's likeness (Gen.1:26) However, the first man, Adam, through disobedience fell from the Grace of God; and therefore sin and death entered into the world. Adam's transgression incurred not only physical death for humanity but also a spiritual death (i.e. eternal separation from God).Therefore, from then, Adam's action necessitates salvation from the power of sin and a saviour to provide that salvation (Rom.5:12-21).Man's only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin is through the atoning Blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12; Rom. 5:8-13; James1:21 & Eph. 2:8).

REPENTANCE UNTO GOD: Repentance is the sorrow of a godly man for his sins with decision to abstain from them-Acts 3:19; 20:21; 2Cor. 7:10; Titus 3:5; Isa. 55:7

HOLINESS & SANCTIFICATION: We believe in the doctrine of holiness and sanctification, i.e regeneration by the HOLY SPIRIT is personal salvation. The Bible teaches us to abstain from all appearance of evil- 1 thess.5:22; 11 Tim.2:21-22.

SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: This will be in physical form and will be visible to all in like manner as He was seen ascending to heavens-Acts1:9-11; John 14:3. 2Thess.3:13; 4:13-17.

RAPTURE OF THE TRUE & WORTHY SAINTS:

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT OF GOD: There will be a final judgement in which the wicked (Sinners) dead will be raised and will be judged and sent to a fiery hell made of sulphur, to be tormented both day and night and the punishment has no end but will continue forever according to the scriptures(Rev.14:10-11;Luke 16:24;Mark 9:43-44)

THE TRIBULATION PERIOD: This is the time between His coming to receive the brides or saints into heaven and His coming to administer judgements. Matt. 24:21; 22:29; Rev.16; 26:20-21; Mark 13:19; Jer.30:7

THE MILLENIAL REIGN (Christ 1,000 year's reign): After Christ appears upon the earth, He would set up His Kingdom with the Holy people for one thousand years-Rev.20:1-6;2:26-27.There will be absolute peace in that kingdom all over and there will be no death nor poverty and Christ will be the king in the Kingdom-Isa.65:18-20;Micah 4:4;Isa.65:21-23;Dan.2:44-45;7:13,14,22,27.

DIVINE HEALING: We strongly believe in the Divine Healing through the atoning Blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 3:1-6; James 5:14-15; Psalms 107:20; Phil. 2:9-11).

RESTITUTION: Restitution is a sign of true repentance. Ezek 22:3 Exodus 22:1; Lev.5:16; 6:1-7; Luke 19:8; Prov.28:

WATER BAPTISM: We believe in the ordinance of water baptism only by immersion in obedience to the word of God. Every born again should be baptised in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ. Matt. 28:19; Acts 16:15; 22:6.

PRAYER & PRAISE: We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his needs. Zech. 12:10

WORLDLINESS FORBIDDEN: We are called to abstain from every appearance of evil and purge ourselves from unclean things so that we may be vessels unto honours. Believers should not be seen in night clubs, cinema halls, revelling, dancing halls etc for such things are works of the flesh. All people doing such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God-Gal. 5:19-21; 1 Peter 4:3-4; Prov. 31:4-5; Rev. 1:5-6.

DUE REFERENCE TO PARENTS AND AUTHORITIES: All Christians are to obey the law of the country, obey the government and authority. They should also honour their parents and elders. 1 Peter 2:13-14; Rom. 13:1-5;Eph.6:1-3.

SWEARING AND CURSING FORBIDDEN: Christian are not expected to swear, blaspheme or curse but instead to ‘Bless, and curse not' Rom. 12:14; Matt. 5:34; James 5:12.

REBELLION AGAINST CHURCH AUTHORITY FORBIDDEN: Rebellion against Church ministers is against the will of God. The Bible enjoined and admonished us that we should submit ourselves to our spiritual leaders. A sin of disobedience against God's ministers will attract heavy punishment from God. Num. 12:1-10; 16:1-4, 32; Heb. 13:17; Joshua1:16-18.

HOLY MATRIMONY: The Bible says that Marriage is honourable in all-Heb.13:4.Believer is not expected to behave like unregenerate souls by celebrating marriage in a worldly pattern with the drinking of alcohols and other things. 1 John 2:15-17; Rom. 12:1

LAYING OF HANDS & ANNOINTING THE SICK: We believe in the laying on of hands and anointing the sick on the head freely and by faith in the name of Jesus Christ and the prayer of faith shall save the sick-James 5:14-16.

STEWARDSHIP: We believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God. We believe that tithing (which is a10% on every income, e.g. salary, profits from business transactions, gifts, etc) is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship. Tithe is exclusively for the ministers' welfare. Offering must also be offered. Malachi 3:8-12; Gen. 14:19-20; Deut. 26:12-13; Lev.27:30; Matt.23:23.

ONE HUSBAND, ONE WIFE, CORRECT DIVORCE & RE-MARRIAGE: We believe in one wife, one husband and never in favour of divorce except when one of the partners has committed adultery and even then, neither of the two should be married to a new partner while both are yet alive. Polygamy is against God's will. Monogamy is God's established statute. We endeavour to preach unity in marriage and discourage divorce and advice a couple in turmoil to find forgiveness in their heart and forgive each other.Matt.5:31-32; 19:9; Mark 10:11-12; Luke 16:18; Rom.7:2-3; Mal.2:13-16; Gen.2:18; Matt. 19:4-6.

HOLY COMMUNION OR THE LORD'S SUPPER: It is instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ shortly before His death. He commanded all Christians to meet regularly to share the bread and wine till He comes back again-Luke 22:17-20;Matt.26:26-29;Mark14:22-25;I cor.10:18,21;Acts 2:42;20:7;I cor.11:23-30.

THE PRIESTHOOD OF THE BELIEVER: We believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Chris in ministry.

Ministry's Objectives

There are 4 Cardinal Pillars/Objectives of the ministry - and these are:

• Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ without compromise with the aim of awakening the slumbering saints and the ‘untoward' generation out of spiritual sleep and warning every sinner to repent and flee from the wrath to come and avoid the danger of spending eternity in hell.(Matt 3:7;Acts 2:41-47;1 Thessa. 5:6;Romans 13:1)

• Practical demonstration and manifestations of the spiritual power of the Holy Spirit and the teaching of the ‘workable' and effectiveness of God's word through the direct application of Biblical principles of dominion and victory over the kingdom of darkness, righteousness in Christ, faith, love, redemption, healing and prosperity.

• Raising, nurturing and training believers till they reach maturity in Christ and be empowered for His Kingdom Service and the end-time exploits. Assisting believers to fulfil God ordained assignments on their lives.

• Mobilising Christian world-wide for the end time harvests of soul and revival.
