Dwelling in the Secret Place

‘He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty’. Psalm 91:1.

What a great honour and special privilege conferred on every Christian who has given his or her life to Jesus Christ! Believers are reserved an exalted ‘seat’ called the shadow of the Almighty where God’s people are never permitted to be humiliated, abused, ridiculed or molested, dishonoured and live like a devalued currency. No one under His shadow will ever be allowed to go through life in sickness, pains and in poverty. It is a ‘no fly zone or no go area to the devil’.

It is often thought that the safest and the most secured place in every nation is the Military barrack where enemy cannot launch an attack, but the recent infiltration of the Taleban and the Al-Qaida (Islamic separatist insurgents) in Iraq and Afghanistan against the Military Officers serving in those countries has proved otherwise. Joining a secret cult or using Talismanic materials can never guarantee anyone’s safety. Dwelling under His shadow is the answer to insecurity and every danger out there. Nowhere else is safe and until you are saved you are not safe. There is no alternative to dwelling under His shadow. Elsewhere is full of venous serpent biting people with unusual and unexplainable.

Then why is life choking and people are in agony? The No1 cause is sin. Sin is an abomination and it invites the devil to strike at will and without mercy and has sent many people into their graves untimely with the sin of abortion, fornication or adultery, disobedience to God’s commandment and a host of others that God detest (Galatians 5:16). Sin incurs the awful wrath of God. The Bible declares: “But it shall not be well with the wicked; neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not God”. Eccl.8 vs. 13.

Those who are not in good relationship with God are exempted from good life. The Bible calls the worker of iniquities and sinners as wicked. Sinners are only entitled to breakdown, failures in all areas, untimely death, sickness and fear as a result of breaking God’s law.

I have good news for you today. Do you need adequate protection from the evil ones? Do you want to be free from everything that makes life insecure? Yes, but how? Run to Jesus today and you will be saved and live a secured life when you abide under His shadow. Give your life to Jesus and everything will be alright for you. Are you ready now? Pray to God in the Name of Jesus to forgive you your sins. Ask Him to write your name into the book of life. You are forgiven in Jesus name.
