The Escape Route

‘And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.' Num 21:6

Many people are extremely groaning and passing through an inexplicable suffering, hardness, calamities and misfortunes in life.

There are serpents biting people today. Those serpents are permitted to torment and oppress the ungodly and sinners who are living in sin and have refused to repent. Those serpents make life unbearable and difficult for those who fail to turn away from adultery, fornication, sexual impurity, wickedness etc. Rom. 1:18 & Isa. 3:11 say:

‘For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness & unrighteousness of men' Romans 1:18

‘Woe unto the wicked! It shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him'. Isaiah 3:11

Serpents of sickness, untimely death, hardship, setback, barrenness, lack etc are out against the haters of God, for: ‘the fool hath said in his heart, there is no God' Psalm 14:1b. Those serpents make sinners to labour and sweat profusely without anything to show for it. They make people live in shame, ridicule and become an object of pity in the community of men.

Hello, l have a good news for you. You can be free from every handwriting of evil against your life, business, and family. God is saying enough of chocking experiences. God is set to put a halt to every negative manifestation around you. To escape from frustrations and life's calamities, you need to return to Him, for: ‘in returning and rest shall ye be saved' lsa.30:15b.Until you come out of sin, you remain locked up in Satan's prison. Jesus said:

‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and l will give you rest.' Matt.11:28.

The only escape route from affliction, troubles and plagues unto freedom and a desired haven is to accept Jesus Christ. This is your opportunity. The Lord says: ‘Consider your ways' Haggai 1:5. Grab it!

Are you ready to forsake worldliness and refrain from sin (Gal. 5:19-21)?.Then pray this prayer:

‘Father, I come to you admitting that I am a sinner. I choose as from today to turn away from my sins and I ask that you cleanse me from sins and unrighteousness. I believe that your son died on the cross and rose again from the dead to take away all my sins and make me righteous in faith through Him. I accept Jesus today as my Lord and Saviour. I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. I will follow you all my life in Jesus' name, amen'.

Now, that you are a child of God by faith. I advice that you take the following steps to enhance your spiritual growth:

• 1. Start attending a Bible believing gospel Church (Hebrews 10:24-25)

• 2. Read and meditate daily on the Word of God ( Joshua 1:8 & 1 Tim.3:15-17)

• 3. Walk closely with other believers (Proverbs 13:20)

• 4. Maintain a very good prayer life as a way of communicating with God (Lk.18:1& Jn.16:26)
